This guide provides instructions on how to navigate and complete surveys on the Sounding Board platform. Surveys are important for personal growth, assessing progress, and providing feedback. The guide explains how to access and complete surveys, including different types of questions and tips for responding. It also explains how to review completed surveys.

1. Navigate to https://coaching.soundingboardinc.com and log in.
During your engagement, you may periodically receive requests to fill out surveys. These surveys serve several purposes:
- Facilitate your growth by gathering information for others involved.
- Illuminate the progress achieved in the engagement for pertinent stakeholders.
- Engage in self-reflection, assessing accomplished milestones, and setting future objectives.
- Contribute observations and feedback pertinent to the engagement.
The frequency of surveys may differ depending on the program and engagement. You will receive email notifications prompting you to complete surveys when they become available.
2. Navigate to the “My Surveys” section on the left-hand navigation panel.
You will see an indicator showing the number of surveys that need to be completed on the left-hand navigation of the My Surveys section. Once you have completed all pending surveys, the indicator will disappear.
3. My Surveys
In your My Surveys section, you'll find both completed and pending surveys assigned to you.
Coachees and Mentees will also see any additional completed surveys that they have access to view but didn't fill out themselves; for instance, they will have access to surveys completed by their manager to support the engagement process.
You will see the following columns -
- Survey Name
- Subject
- Recipient
- Program/Engagement
- Survey Creation Date
- Date Submitted
- Status
4. Complete Surveys
When you have surveys pending completion, they will be marked with a status button labeled "To Do." When you're ready to fill out the survey -
- Click "To Do"
5. Complete Surveys
The survey you wish to complete will pop-up for you to complete.
When completing the survey, expect to encounter different types of questions, such as:
- Checkbox questions
- Questions with options to select from
- Dropdown menu questions
- Questions prompting comments or explanations
- Rating scale questions
- Questions requiring a "yes" or "no" response
- Questions with sliders for selecting a value
Note: Any question with an asterisk is required.

Taking your time when responding to surveys is essential. Not only do they facilitate your growth by gathering information for others involved, but they also illuminate the progress achieved in the engagement for pertinent stakeholders. Additionally, surveys provide a valuable opportunity for self-reflection, allowing you to assess accomplished milestones and set future objectives. Make sure to contribute observations and feedback pertinent to the engagement, as your insights play a vital role in shaping its direction.
6. Complete Surveys
Surveys may consist of multiple pages, although they aren't always multi-page. Once you've completed the tasks on your current page -
- Click "NEXT"
7. Complete Surveys
Once you have completed all sections of the survey, proceed to finalize and submit it -
- Click "COMPLETE" and
- Click "CLOSE"
Note: Once you complete the survey, you will not be able to edit it, and you will see the Date Submitted column will reflect when this survey was completed.
8. View Surveys
Once surveys you have access to are completed, you can review them by selecting the "View" option displayed in the Status button. When you're prepared to review a survey
- Click "View"
9. View Surveys
The survey will pop up for you to review as needed. When you are done -
- Click "CLOSE"
