1. Navigate to https://coaching.soundingboardinc.com and log in.
On-Demand Coaching provides flexible, personalized coaching support when you need it most. Unlike scheduled coaching programs, you can connect with a coach at your convenience to address immediate leadership challenges and development needs.
You must be enrolled in an on-demand coaching program to schedule on-demand sessions.
2. On-Demand Coaching
If you are in an On-Demand Coaching program -
- Click and navigate to the "On-Demand Coaching" tab
3. Find a Coach
To find the first available coaches to schedule an on-demand session with -
- Click "Find a Coach"
4. Recommended Coaches
You will see the three first available coaches with whom you can potentially schedule your on-demand session. While the first available coach will display first, you can review any of the coaches' details to find the best fit for you -
- Click "See more..."
5. Coach Profile and Availability
On the coach's profile details, you'll be able to learn more about them, and you can also quickly see their first available session time.
Spend time reviewing their available coaches so you select the best fit for you both availability-wise and for your needs. To exit the coach's profile -
- Click "Close"
6. Schedule a Session
Once you have decided on the coach you would like to schedule an on-demand session with -
- Click "Schedule a Session"
Note: This can also be done from the previous screen, where you can view all of the coaches available.
7. Schedule a Session
Fill in details to ensure the coach can jump right into the session with you -
- Leadership Capabilities: Choose 1-2 leadership capabilities from the dropdown menu that you'd like to focus on during your session. These capabilities represent the key skills and mindsets that help you lead more strategically and effectively within your organization.

- Your main reason for scheduling this session
- Specific leadership opportunities you'd like to discuss
- Current challenges you're facing
- Additional Context: Use this space to share any other relevant information that would help your coach prepare for your session, particularly around your organization.
8. Schedule a Session
When you reach the schedule module, the first available session will automatically be selected. However, you can select a different date and time, for example, if you would like a little more time to prepare for the session.
- Select the Session Date
- Select the Session Time
- Click "Schedule"

💡 Tip: Our scheduling tool employs a sophisticated algorithm to facilitate the arrangement of sessions by seeking mutual availability. In cases where sessions and time remain available within the Engagement, yet no mutual availability is displayed between users, the obstacle likely originates from one of the synced calendars. It's imperative to recognize that our scheduling functionality meticulously evaluates mutual availability based on both the users' working hours, conveniently adjustable within the application. Additionally, the tool considers the availability reflected in their synced calendars. Consequently, sessions are exclusively available for booking during designated working hours and when users are free on their synced calendars.
By integrating both the Set Working Hours feature and synced calendar availability, our scheduling tool ensures sessions are scheduled only during mutually convenient times, significantly enhancing the overall scheduling experience for users.
Moreover, our tool is adept at addressing common challenges that may arise:

Blocking time for sessions on synced calendars: Occasionally, events or appointments on synced calendars inadvertently occupy time that could otherwise be utilized for scheduling sessions. For example, if you block time to ensure you remain available for booking a session, this will, in turn, block the system from seeing the time as free.

Syncing shared calendars with blocked time: Shared calendars often contain events or commitments that are incompatible with session scheduling. Despite this challenge, our tool intelligently syncs with these calendars, considering only the available time slots for scheduling sessions.

All-day (busy) events on synced calendars: Events marked as all-day or busy on synced calendars can impede finding mutual availability. However, our tool distinguishes these events and prioritizes free time slots for scheduling sessions.
By proactively tackling these common challenges, our scheduling tool streamlines the process of finding mutual availability, ensuring seamless coordination between coaches and coachees.

9. Upcoming Session
After scheduling the session, you will see it on your dashboard, and can join as well as manage the session directly from there.
