1. Calendar synchronization on the Sounding Board platform allows your availability to be automatically displayed based on two key factors: your designated Set Working Hours and the available time on your linked calendars. To manage your availability with precision, you can block specific days or times directly on your linked calendar without altering your broader availability settings. While this guide will demonstrate the process using Google Calendar, the fundamental steps may be similar across different calendar systems.

2. Block Time on Your Calendar
On one of your synced calendars, navigate to the day when you plan on not being available -
- Click anywhere on that date to create a new event
Note: You can create this event in any of the calendars you have synced, whether it is your primary or secondary, as all impact your availability on the platform.
3. Block Time on Your Calendar
Enter in the approriate details on the event, such as a Title. If you are not going to be available for the enter day, ensure that you make the event All Day.
4. Block Time on Your Calendar
Once you are complete -
- Click "Save" and
- Click "Save & decline"

In this example, the user will no longer appear as available on Friday the 22nd in the Sounding Board platform.

Additionally, the tool considers the availability reflected in their synced calendars. Consequently, sessions are exclusively available for booking during designated working hours and when users are free on their synced calendars.
