It explains how admins and coaches can mark engagements as completed, what happens when an engagement is completed, and how to view completed engagements. The guide also provides information on how coaches can be granted the ability to complete their own engagements.

Written Walkthrough
1. Navigate to https://coaching.soundingboardinc.com and log in as an Admin or a coach.
Engagements automatically transition to 'completed' status at 12:00 AM on their end date, likely in either the coach's or coachee's time zone. This can cause issues when participants try to schedule a session on the final day, as the engagement may complete before they can hold their last session.
Admins have the ability to complete both mentoring and 1:1 coaching engagements within the software. In some cases, if specific settings are enabled, coaches may also be allowed to complete their own 1:1 coaching engagements. While Admins can manage and complete all engagements under their purview, coaches can only complete their individual 1:1 coaching engagements.
When an engagement is marked as completed, its status changes to "Completed," preventing any further scheduling or logging of sessions. This action also frees up the coach's or mentor's capacity for new engagements.
Note: Mentoring engagements do not have end dates, so admins must complete them manually.
2. Navigate to the “Engagements” section on the left-hand navigation panel.
Note: If you are a coach, navigate to your "My Coachees" section.
3. Locate Engagement
Locate the Engagement that you wish to completed, and then scroll all the way to the right.
4. Complete Engagement
Once you have located the engagement -
- Click the action menu (⋮ icon)
- Click "Complete Engagement"
5. Complete Engagement
Before the engagement is completed, confirm you would like to proceed -
- Click "Confirm"
Note: Completing engagements cannot be undone, so proceed with caution.
6. Complete Engagement
If there are sessions scheduled for the engagement (pending to be logged or utilized), you will be notified and have the opportunity to review the upcoming sessions. If you proceed with completing the engagement, the remaining sessions will be forfeited, and any scheduled sessions will be cancelled. To confirm -
- Click "Confirm"
Note: Completing engagements cannot be undone, so proceed with caution.
7. View Completed Engagements
To view completed engagements, go to the Status filter -
- Click the ▼ down menu option
- Click "Completed"
8. View Completed Engagements
You will see all completed engagements here, and have the ability to filter further if desired.
