Manager Alignment Opportunities Within Coaching and Mentoring Engagements [BASE]

Allows managers to be involved in the coaching or mentoring engagement so that they can be aligned on their report's leadership development goals and progress.

• Manager goal suggesting within Leadership Roadmap [BASE]
  • Managers can suggest a goal for their coachee or mentee in their Leadership Roadmap. Coachees and mentees will be informed when they have a suggested goal and can opt to turn the suggestion into an active goal.
• Manager commenting within Leadership Roadmap [BASE]
  • When coachees or mentees share a goal with their manager, the manager will be able to view the goal and can add comments to the goal as desired.
• Manager surveying [BASE]
  • Throughout a coaching or mentoring engagement, managers may be asked to provide feedback periodically to share their observations on their progress and development.

Manager Alignment Conversations for 1:1 Coaching Engagements [PREMIUM]

Allows admins to configure 1:1 coaching programs to include manager alignment conversations within scheduled coaching sessions. Manager alignment conversations can serve as a more direct way to engage an employee’s manager in the coaching process to gain greater alignment around coaching goals and progress and enhance the coaching engagement.

  • Program setting that admins can enable to prompt coaches to track the completion of manager alignment conversations when logging sessions.
    * Available as a premium add-on to a customer's contract for coaching modules.

• Manager Alignment Conversation logging for 1:1 coaching engagements [PREMIUM]
  • When a program has manager alignment tracking enabled, coaches will be prompted to indicate whether a manager alignment conversation took place during the session. Relevant users can view which completed sessions a MAC occurred on, and the name of the manager.
