This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to Set Your Working Hours on the Sounding Board platform. It emphasizes the importance of selecting the correct calendars to poll for availability, as well as setting an additional layer of control over your working hours. This guide is essential for anyone using the platform to ensure that their sessions are accurately reflected on their primary calendar.
- Navigate to https://coaching.soundingboardinc.com/account?tab=calendar and log in to your account calendar settings.
- Scroll down until you see the Set Your Working Hours section
Managing Included Calendars
By default, the platform includes all calendars available from the synced calendar accounts.
To manage the calendars you want the system to use to poll for availability, click the plus (+) button to display a list of all available calendars.
From here, you can manually check off the calendar(s) that you want the system to poll for availability. In the example above, the Calendar from Office 365 and Todoist from google have been selected. This means only these two calendars will be read from when polling for availability, all other calendars will be ignored.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save new rules to confirm the change.
Set Your Working Hours
By default the system includes 9am to 5pm as your working hours. These hours are used in combination with the availability found in your included calendars in the step above to determine if you are free for scheduling. Use the working hours time table to permanently block users from scheduling sessions with you during that time period.
In the example below, the user has set their availability as 9am - 5pm on Mon, Tue, Wed and Fri (designated by the blue areas). Thursday has no blue areas defined, this means scheduling sessions will not be possible on Thursday, even if their connected calendars have availability.
You can modify the working hours by hovering over the section of time you want to modify and click and drag to add/remove that time block from your working hours:
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save new rules to confirm the change.
