Written Walkthrough
1. Navigate to https://coaching.soundingboardinc.com and log in as an Admin or Sponsor.
The Onboarding Insights tab provides a comprehensive overview of user progress through the platform onboarding journey, tracking both account creation milestones and coaching initiation steps.
This tab is visible only to Admin and Sponsor role users. Stakeholders will not see this tab as some information shown is not relevant to their role. Additionally, much of the data displayed is platform-wide rather than engagement-specific. Since Stakeholder access is limited to their associated engagements, while Admin and Sponsor users have broader visibility across the platform, this tab remains exclusive to roles with system-wide access.

2. Navigate to Onboarding Insights -
- Click "Onboarding"
3. Coaching Insights Dashboard Filtering
The coaching insights dashboard can be filtered by Module and Program
- Click "Filters"
- Select the Modules(s) and/or Program(s)
- Close the side-panel

Filter selections appear as chips above the dashboard for easy reference. To remove any filters -
- Click the ✖️ (remove x) button on the chip OR
- Click "Filters" and "Reset Filters"
- Close the side-panel
Onboarding Progress
5. Active Users By Role
This card shows the distribution of all users involved in active coaching engagements. It includes both direct participants (coaches, coachees) and supporting roles (managers, moderators, stakeholders, sponsors) connected to active programs.
The count reflects all participants actively engaged with the Sounding Board platform, providing visibility into overall program participation across all role types.

6. Calendar Status
This card tracks calendar integration status for all coaches and coachees, regardless of their engagement status. It provides a quick overview of how many users have successfully connected their calendars to the platform.
7. Coachee Onboarding Status 🗃️
This card shows the progression of coachees through each stage of the onboarding journey, up until their second coaching session. It provides a percentage breakdown of users at each milestone, helping track onboarding completion rates across the organization.
The visualization displays:

Percentage of total coachees at each stage
Actual number of coachees in each stage - Additional details available via tooltip hover

Drilldown notes
- Coachees will display for all of the programs they are in, so there might be duplicate coachees showing across different programs.
💡 Tip: Coachee Status Definitions

Account Created - Coachee has set up their password and completed their first login
Profile Completed - Coachee has finished filling out their profile onboarding information -
Ready for Matching - Coachee is enrolled in a 1:1 program, completed their work style assessment, and is awaiting coach matching for their current program.
Matched - Coachee has either been paired with an individual coach (1:1 program) or assigned to a coached group (group program).
First Session Complete - The first coaching session has been logged - either individual (1:1 program) or group session. Note: Coachees are removed from this status after their second session is logged.
8. Drill-Down Option
Certain cards have the ability to drill down to see further details; moving forward, any card with drill-down abilities will show 🗃️ to note the ability. To drill down, on the upper right of the card -
- Click the table icon

Filters can be set at the drill-down level to narrow down the data being displayed. On the column header -
- Click the 🔽 down carrot
- Click "Clear" to deselect all OR
- Select/deselect options manually
- Click "OK" to set the filter(s)

Drill-down data can be exported to a CSV for further manipulation if desired.
- Click "Export CSV"
When you are complete with the drill-down data -
- Click "Close"
11. Manager Onboarding Status 🗃️
This card shows the progression of managers through each stage of the onboarding journey. It provides a percentage breakdown of managers at each milestone, helping track onboarding completion rates across the organization.
The visualization displays:
- Percentage of total managers at each stage
- Actual number of managers in each stage
- Additional details available via tooltip hover
