The Leadership Roadmap, a feature in the Sounding Board app, allows users to chart their leadership development objectives and track their advancement. It serves as a guiding framework for developmental journeys.
The Leadership Roadmap is accessible to all users, yet it shines brightest when employed collaboratively within an engagement, be it coaching or mentoring. Within an engagement, both users have access to the leader's Leadership Roadmap and goals created.
Goals are the specific, desired leadership behaviors that an individual wants to be activating on a daily basis in their leadership.
2. Navigate to the “Leadership Roadmap” option on the left-hand navigation panel.
- Navigate to the desired goal
3. Pause a Goal
A goal can be changed to Paused when the goal is no longer a focus area you are working on in the engagement. This status is valuable when circumstances change for an individual, and they choose or need to focus on other goals they have created or new goals, but this might be a goal they will circle back to later.
- Click the pause icon
- Confirm and click "YES"
By default, these goals are hidden in the Development Goals column under "Paused Goals" but still accessible.
A Paused goal cannot be edited, and progress cannot be made unless it is changed back to Active status.
