EU Data Support
To comply with the requirement to store European customer data within the European Union, this release allows all Sounding Board platform data to be stored in either the United States (in various US data centers) or in the European Union (in German data centers). Administrators can specify a data region to ensure all platform data is saved accordingly when regions become available in a future release.
Setting Data Region
Administrators can select the data region for tenants and subtenants (companies).
The subtenant region is set during the creation of a new subtenant in the create subtenant workflow on the Subtenants page.
Settings must be confirmed:
Tenant region can be set when creating a tenant in the SuperUser application
Viewing Data Region![]()
The data region is displayed on:
The Subtenants page - visible only to admins
The Company Profile page - visible to admins and sponsors
Changing data region
The region can be changed by submitting a help desk request for the SB tech team to make the change.
