Mentoring
Program Launch Workflow
- Mentor and mentee profiles can be completed before the mentoring program is launched
- When a program is launched, mentees will receive a notification so that they can be informed and be prompted to select a mentor through the Sounding Board platform.
- When a program is launched, mentors will receive a notification so that they are informed and can be prepared for incoming mentoring requests.
Mentor Capacity
- Mentors will be clearly informed about their remaining capacity. They will see messages on the mentoring requests page when they have one or no capacity left, and when they are over capacity.
- Mentors can now easily edit their capacity from the mentoring requests page.
Admin Enhancements

Admins can set the session duration on mentoring programs. The value admin sets in program settings will be the default session duration when scheduling sessions.

Mentors and mentees can change the session duration (if the flexible session duration feature is enabled)

- Admins can now view mentor and mentee profile completion status from the People Table.
- The People Table also has a filter to allow admins to easily filter for completed or incomplete profiles.
People Table Improvements
- Filters are now shown in a slide out menu
- Filter state persists, so a user can navigate away and come back to the same state, or share a URL to the filtered state.
Coachee Homepage "My Engagements" Panel
- On the coachee homepage, the "My Programs" panel is now called “My Engagements”
- Added “End Date” field to the panel
- Added “Sessions Available” to the panel
- Added “Add-Ons” to the panel, which will only be shown if the program has any add-ons enabled
Updates to Email Notifications
- Updated the copy in the welcome email notification that is sent to Sounding Board Guide coachee users.
- Updated the copy, added the engagement dates, and number of sessions available to the coach match email notification that is sent to Sounding Board Guide coachee users.
- Sounding Board Guide coachees receive a reminder email 2 days prior to an upcoming session so they are prepared or can reschedule or cancel, if needed.
Application Co-Branding Updates
- Because of our recent platform UX/UI design enhancements, we made some updates to what can be configured for customers with co-branding so that the application maintains our accessibility standards.
- Adding the customer logo to the application header and changing the application header color will continue to be supported.
- Changing of the color of text, buttons, or other UI components will no longer be supported.
Session Timeout Configurability
- The session timeout duration can be configured on a per-tenant basis*
- Configuration is done by the Sounding Board team
