This release includes the following updates:
Core Surveys
Core surveys are surveys created by Sounding Board that are designed to measure leader development, gather diverse perspectives on the coachee, and fuel the insights dashboards.
This enhancement brings clarity to help customers unlock the full value of our platform and insight dashboards by using our behavioral science-backed core surveys as designed.
Core surveys introduce guardrails to survey customization to prevent errors, maintain the integrity of insights dashboards and further driving the use of our behavioral science backed Core Surveys.
Key aspects of Core Surveys.
- Automatically Added to All Companies (Tenants) (Coaching and Mentoring)
- Core Surveys will be automatically added to companies (tenants) based on modules that are enabled
- Pre-set with Triggers and Recipients When Added to Program
- Core Surveys are pre-configured with the survey trigger, recipients, and visible users so when added to a program, admin does not need to set those configurations
- Generate Insights
- Data collected from Core Surveys generate insights on admin/sponsor dashboards
- Core Surveys are the only surveys that will produce insights
- Editing Restrictions
- Core Surveys have restrictions on customization and editability to mitigate the risk of inaccurate data insights. Core Surveys cannot be deleted
Leadership Capabilities
Leadership Capability management has been improved:
Automatically Populated in Surveys
- New placeholder questions allow for the Leadership Capabilities to be automatically populated into surveys – both rating question and checkbox list
Descriptions Displayed
- Rating question now displays the Leadership Capability descriptions
Editing Limitations
- Leadership Capabilities are pulled from the Program. If a LC is edited in the program, it will be reflected in the survey
- For the Leadership Capability rating question, the “parent” question cannot be edited
Insights Dashboards (Expand Customer Updates)
This release includes significant update to the Expand customer insights dashboards which where originally released in late 2024. These new insights dashboards have not yet been released for Guide customers. Target release of new Insights dashboards to Guide customers is v2.52 in March 2025.

- New tabular view "drill down" functionality on many cards.
Onboarding Tab
This new tab includes insights related to user onboarding phase: creating accounts and onboarding into the application. It also provides the total count of users in the system.

- Note: Only displayed when the optional coachee tracking status feature has been enabled.
- New Section: Engagement Add-Ons
- This section's cards are only displayed when these optional features have been enabled.
- Coachees with Logged Manager Alignment Conversations
- Coachees with Logged Assessment Debriefs
- This section's cards are only displayed when these optional features have been enabled.

Other Updates
The Platform Usage section has been removed. This section contained cards: Monthly Active Users and Chat Usage. These cards needed further review and potential enhancements before providing value, so they have been removed.

Coachee Investment
This section includes insights on the percentage of coachees who maximized the sessions available during their coaching engagement and contains two cards. These cards were previously located on the Engagement tab:
- Percentage of users who completed all sessions
- Average percentage of sessions completed
Survey Completion Overview
This section provides an overview of survey completion rates by user type and survey title. Full survey data can be exported from the Data Exports page.
Other Updates
Filtering
All dashboards can now be filtered by Program.
The program filter does not affect the following cards:
Onboarding Tab:
- Calendar Status
- Manager Onboarding Status
Drill Down
Some insights cards now support drilling town into a tabular data view.
Cards that support drill down display this clickable icon:
Clicking the icon will launch drill down table, for example:
Drill down tables can be filtered by each column and exported as a .csv file.

Added a "Prefer not to say" option to the Age Range menu of the Basic Information onboarding step.
